As I reported here earlier, Shawn went to Shannon Moore's tattoo shop and got a new tattoo while WWE was in North Carolina last week. Here are some pics from WWE.com of Shawn getting the tattoo. It's similar to the one he has with his son's name, except this one has his daughter's name.

Hey everyone, I checked around like I said below and here's what I found out about when Shawn will return. Basically we have to wait until next week to see what happens with Jericho. If Jericho is still talking about Shawn next week and not starting a feud with someone new, then Shawn will most likely be back soon, as in Summerslam next month. However, if Jericho starts a feud with someone else, then Shawn might not be back for months, possibly at Survivor Series (!!!!) That is all I know. So asking more questions on the tagboard is useless. When I know something, I will post it.

Hey everyone, I'm saying this again since everyone keeps asking. I checked around with a couple of reliable sources and Shawn is not really hurt. There is no eye injury. He is perfectly fine. Some sites are reporting false information. Don't believe them. He is fine.

Link From top to bottom on the card — with the notable exceptions of the ECW and Diva title bouts — every match had a gripping grudge going in. Every one had a question to be answered. Would CM Punk’s lucky streak continue against The Animal? How would Edge deal with his break-up from Vickie Guerrero? Would John Cena and JBL actually succeed in murdering each other? Could Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho deliver another classic?

Also at The Bash, Chris Jericho continued to direct his fury toward Shawn Michaels’
right eye, originally wounded by Y2J on an episode of the Highlight
Reel. The contest was called off due to Michaels’ injuries, but not
before Jericho did severe damage to HBK’s eye. Y2J emerged later to
claim that Michaels’ retina was detached, and that it was a
career-ending injury. Will Shawn Michaels be able to recover from this
injury like he has so many others, or is Chris Jericho right? Has he
truly ended the career of one of sports-entertainment’s greatest
performers?

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – After months of hatred boiling hotter and hotter, Shawn Michaels' promise that “the worst is truly yet to come” rung true at The Great American Bash. Unfortunately for HBK, the truth came at his own expense as Chris Jericho re-injured Michaels’ right eye drawing so much blood that, despite HBK’s insistence to battle on, the officials ended the match and Y2J was declared winner. (Watch Michaels receive medical attention) Throughout the bout, Michaels gave it his all in the match and seemed to have the momentum until a well-placed elbow ended up worsening his injured eye. After that, Jericho and protégé Lance Cade – a former pupil of The Showstopper – targeted the injury making it bleed more and more profusely, causing the match to be ended on the referee’s decision. With Michaels' heading back to San Antonio for further examination, Jericho came back out to make a bold announcement to our fans. He stated that tonight was historical as he claimed Michaels’ was diagnosed by the trainers with a detached retina and that those watching had just witnessed the last match of HBK’s career. Y2J has had it out for HBK the last few months, constantly questioning Michaels’ morality. What seems to add even more fuel to his fire is the fans’ constant approval for HBK’s actions. Jericho struck first on an edition of the Highlight Reel originally injuring HBK’s eye by throwing him face-first into the Jeri-Tron 6000. Now that all is said and done, it seems as though Jericho has lived up to his prophecy and ended Michaels’ illustrious career. Could the curtain have pulled for the last time for The Showstopper?
